You’re giving me the confidence to write. Your style is perfect. Btw I’m not far from Herts and have the lush green, the coffee and baked goods. Anyway, thank you Sasha.
I completely relate to the deep introvert! I am a big fan of alone time and having my own space to recharge. I also find being out in nature on my own pure bliss!
I love this, Sasha, and I’m excited for you bringing this to life. That location sweet spot is a tricksy thing, I have glorious countryside on my doorstep but have to drive 10 miles/20mins to coffee shops which means I don’t do it as often as I think I’d enjoy!
I know to be true that overhead lights absolutely never ever need to be used! I get irritated if someone switches one on even for a few minutes 😂 I also resonate so much with the line, "I need to find a home that can see me surrounded by green within 15-20 minutes, while also being equidistant from good coffee and baked goods." I think about this all of the time as I'm hoping to move to yet another new country soon. City or countryside? Village? What is my main need right now? Nature, for sure, nature and sun and sea. But the where keeps bouncing around, some days I love being in a city solely for the cafe and bakery options, other days I crave nature and a wide, expansive view that lets me feel like I can breathe.
I take a lot of this for granted Sasha, so a jolly big thank you for bringing my feet onto the earth and scraping out a bit of gratitude for me...honestly, thank you.
While I live with my little (oh so noisy!) family I do have my log cabin in the bottom of my garden. Tis heaven. Decorated just how I like it (just as you describe). Whitewashed floors and 3 massive windows, a slidey door, my lime and olive trees in corners. I can hear the sea from it, on a calm day 🌊
Thanks for helping me feel the luck, and the love 😌🥰
I loved this piece. I agree that big lights are pretty much redundant these days! :)
And I loved those questions, 'what do you know to be true?' and 'what is purely confirmation?' They will definitely have me thinking.

I also LOVE having my own space, knowing it’s your choice when to interact with others is the best.
